Pittsburgh will soon be home to the newest transport service: Axle Travel, which will specifically cater to those headed to Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT).
Uber or Lyft rides to PIT can cost upwards of $40 dollars but the cost-effective 28X bus takes far too long to reach the airport. Axle Travel aims to cut the cost of Uber and Lyft in half while maintaining their timeliness. In a nutshell, Axle Travel will offer private rides from your door (just like an Uber or Lyft) to a drop-off location from which you and other travelers will take a shared shuttle to PIT.
